In medicine and healthcare, evidence-based practice has yielded enormous advances in patient outcome in the last 20-30 years. Applying similar approaches in education has the potential to transform schools and school leadership. In this session, participants will learn how evidence-based practice is being applied within an accreditation for Ministry of Education Supervisors who are supporting teachers of refugees across Jordan. The session will discuss the use of diagnostic lesson observation, research on teacher effectiveness, and evidence from the science of learning.
