This session will enable participants to understand the necessity to explicitly and implicitly teach ATL skills and will introduce them to processes to facilitate the design of relevant learning experiences which support regulated learning.
This session will focus on:
1-Discuss the necessity for teachers to teach ATL skills to develop life long learners.
2-Explore the roles of cognitive, affective and metacognitive skills.
3-Experience the process of designing engagements which move students toward self-regulated learning
