This session will look at the current thinking around future work places and what skills and attributes will be required to meet this need. Participants will be involved in group work identifying key attributes/skills and how these could be developed in
a school context. The key objectives are to enable greater understanding of the current research around future workplace skills and attributes. Understanding of how the IB are
looking at developing key skills and attributes for the future workplace. How can we develop these key skills/attributes in schools.

Jon is from Oxford in the United Kingdom where he started his teaching experience,  He moved to the Middle-East and worked  in both Qatar and Dubai for 18 years. In Dubai he developed as an educationalist (moving from primary to secondary school teaching) in a variety of settings (from the royal national school, to an English grammar school to a culturally diverse 5000 pupil international school) through a variety of roles (.
